INTELLIGENT NUTRIENT DELIVERY

The New Dilution Solutions automated nutrient delivery controller was designed with simplicity and versatility in mind, allowing the grower to optimize the crop’s water and fertility requirements, generating better consistency and higher yields.

“A fertigation controller was just the natural next step for Dilution Solutions.” said Pam Temko, Dilutions Solutions CEO, “We’ve been supplying high-quality fertilizer injectors into the ag market for over 35 years.”

A lot of the other fertigation controllers are designed to handle every component in the facility with actual fertilizer injectors treated as an afterthought, using lower-precision Venturi and peristaltic pumps. We took the exact opposite approach. First and foremost, we give growers a high-quality injection system based on water-driven Dosatron injectors and electric Etatron diaphragm pumps. The Dilution Solution controller simply adds an “intelligent” automated brain to the system.

The Dilution Solutions Controller allows a grower to formulate an unlimited number of unique recipes and schedule the delivery of those recipes to a specific room and zone. The grower can choose from either direct injection or batch tanks when setting up the system.  Along with automated nutrient delivery, the controller also captures and reports data for growers to develop plant-based control strategies.

The app-like controller screen is another significant advantage. The grower uses the intuitive screen icons to customize the dashboard for the critical information they want to see, for example, continuously displaying the EC, pH, and tank levels. The controller monitors these selected parameters and can send an alert to smartphones or other remote devices signaling the grower when there is a problem.

The controller also allows management to tiered access for additional security. For example, although everyone in the system can view recipes, feeding schedules, etc., they cannot make adjustments without preapproved access.
